True Grit

By Jo Platten

This weekend, on the 7th and 8th May 2016 is True Grit, Australia’s first military style obstacle course! The annual event is held at Caudo Vineyard in Cadell. The event is a gruelling obstacle course which spans 10-12 kms and is not for the faint hearted! The 30+ obstacles are designed to test your resolve and stamina and include everything from commando crawls and nets to ropes and pontoons!

Adam and Matt, the founders of True Grit have served in the Australian Army and Special Forces all over the world. Adam and Matt’s last deployment was in 2010 when Matt was wounded. Because of this, True Grit isn’t just a challenge, it is also designed to raise money to support the families of those lost at war and wounded in operations.

If you’re interested in competing, working as a volunteer or donating to the cause, visit the True Grit website, it truly is a worthy cause!
